Dawn Patrol

Well I got a call from some friends to get up REALLY early to catch the dawn patrol for a local balloon take off. We got there in the wee hours of the morning (still dark) hoping to catch the balloons all lit up! Well, the hours go by and it kept getting lighter and lighter. It was a little disappointing but I was able to capture a few good pics. I hope you enjoy!

Olivia and Erik Wedding

I got to photograph my cousins wedding in Pasadena, CA. I drove down and got to spend time with family and friends before the shoot.  It was held at the Maxwell Mansion and was an incredible venue to be able to shoot at. I had such a great time meeting the entire wedding party and got some great pics. I hope you all enjoy!

I had the priveledge to work with Shannon Rosan on a wedding last weekend and it was out in the middle of NOWHERE! It was on a private ranch that was absolutely beautiful! I was able to capture this beautiful image of them walking by themselves.

Janice and Erol Wedding, Trash the Dress-Carmel, CA

I had the pleasure to do a Trash the Dress session in Carmel-By-The-Sea. I got to shoot with fellow photographer Rick Carter and we got some GREAT images that I am proud of. I got to shoot this wedding with my good friend Renee Boyd. This was a 3 day shoot between Monterey and Carmel By The Sea. It was an awesome time!

It was great working with Kaiti and Jarrett and we got to play and take A LOT of creative images. We had lots of time planned and they were willing to go and have fun!

A Starry Night

I went camping this past weekend and go to try some new stuff with my camera. Here is a two hour exposure for creating star trails. I love the color of the Milky Way coming through. This was a great trip and a chance to escape the HEAT and play. I hope you like it

Golden Gate Bridge

Hey all! It's been a while since I've posted an image, but life has been crazy without a job. Whew!
This is a 4 image panoramic that I did the other nite with the full moon over the golden gate bridge. With all the fog rolling in and a patch of nite sky, this made a great image! I hope you like it too

Blue-Eyed Puppy

After taking pictures with a friend there was a cute puppy with a blue eye! I tried to get some pictures of her and laid on the ground then called her... Well she came all right! right into the lens! It was one of the funniest things! Anyway, with her being just a puppy, we had to hold her to keep her still while I took the picture. enjoy!

Bridge By Moonlight

The last shot of the night with just a few of my hard core students left, we all got incredible shots of the bridge as the sun was going down. Enjoy!

Pushing Up Daisies

I took my digital photography class to Turtle Bay to shoot at the arboretum and the bridge at night. I also had a model shoot earlier at Turtle Bay as well. I really liked these of the daisies stretching toward the sun!

1944 Steam Train

I went with fellow photographer Chuck to go into the canyon and shoot the 1944 steam train going from Oroville, CA to Cheyenne, WY. Be sure to click on the image to see all the detail!

Sophie

I was taking my class to the downtown park plaza where we met Sophie. I told her that we were a photography class and she asked if we would take her picture if she rode her bike through the water. Well she rode her bike through all the non water part and I asked if she would get wet. I really liked all the detail of the water hitting her. The first wedding of the year kicked off with a great start as I helped Rick Carter photograph this wedding in Sacremento. She is part Indian and was an incredibly beautiful wedding. Enjoy!

Tower Bridge

Hanging out with fellow photographer Rick, we wandered to the Tower Bridge. The bridge was built in 1911 and was great to shoot as the sun went down

Mask

While in Sacramento for my first wedding of the year, I was in old town Sacramento and wandered the street. This is an image that was in a window. I loved the lighting and detailing of the face

Sitting Hummingbird

As in my previous post, I was taking pictures of the humming birds for quite a while. I have some great shots. This one I really liked. I cropped in a little bit to make the emphasis a little more on the bird. I hope you like it!

Humming Bird

While out today, I came across this rosemary plant that was swarming with humming birds! I spent 2 hours trying to capture one that wasn't blurry and had some color. Here is my attempt! I hope to do better next time.

The Lookout House

I went out shooting today with a friend and we stumbled across these interesting houses made of tree branches. I loved the textures and the angles of the twisted branches. I hope you like it!
